- wade vroom is an occasional teacher with the TDSB and an independent filmmaker.
 
- wade has been the workshop leader for the Hot Docs Youth Doc Camp in 2009, 2010 and 2011 where he helps guide teenagers through the production of their first short documentary
 
- wade delivers documentary production workshops to educators to show them how easily documentary filmmaking  and storytelling can be brought into their classroom.  wade has worked with such youth film initiatives as:
