about wade
wade vroom is an independent filmmaker and documentarian. since graduating from the U of T Education program in 2008 he has been documenting various activities around toronto with his video camera.
wade was the workshop director for the Hot Docs Youth Doc Camp in august 2009 where he taught and guided 12 teenagers through the production of their first short documentary.
wade also gives documentary video making workshops to educators to show them how easily documentary filmmaking and storytelling using new media can be brought into their classroom, even when resources are very limited. wade is currently a supply teacher with the TDSB.
